Annual Benefit Poker Tournament Prizes include Disneyland or Disney World lodging, a personally prepared dinner at your home by the Le Cordon Bleu Academy Executive Chef, Field Club Level tickets to San Francisco Giants, Chicago Fire Gift Certificate and much more
(Davis, CA – January 20, 2012) Let the betting begin. Davis Musical Theatre Company is cutting the cards and dealing an exciting evening of Texas Hold ‘Em poker action, Saturday, February 11th in the DMTC lobby. Thousands of dollars in prizes are up for grabs throughout the night with a final round showdown on the DMTC stage for the evening’s highest roller.
Registration for the fundraising event begins at 6:30 p.m. with first hand dealt at 7 p.m. The price for the tournament is $40 to buy-in. Plus, during the evening a $20 re-buy is available for those that lady luck has frowned upon and a $20 add-on for high rollers. All donations for the evening’s game are tax deductible and proceeds benefit Davis Musical Theatre Company’s main stage and young people’s productions.
“During the night will be a Bad Beat Jackpot prize for that player that had a great hand and under normal circumstances would have won, but just got beat by a phenomenal hand,” said Adam Sartain, the organizer of the event. “The highlight of the evening will be the final round that will take place on the theater’s stage, bathed in dramatic lighting. Other attendees, not involved in the finals, will be able to gather round and watch to see who will be the champ.”
Prizes are being added daily, but, to date, include:
