Beginning
Monday July 5, 2010, the Davis Musical Theatre Company will
be holding its annual Summer Youth Theater Workshop for 7-17
year olds. The Beginning Workshop will be on Mondays and
Wednesdays from 10am through noon. (Instruction dates will
be 7/5, 7/7, 7/12, 7/14, 7/19, 7/21, 7/26 and 7/28) The
workshop will run through July 28, 2010. The Workshop will
be taught by Jan Isaacson and Helen Spangler. The Beginning
students will learn the basics of acting, singing, dance
steps vocal projection and other basic performing skills
through theater games, improvisation and beginning scene
study. The workshop will culminate into a recital of songs
and scenes. The free workshop recital will be Thursday July
29, 2010 at 7:00pm. The cost of the workshop will be $175
per student.
